Roberto said, “The café seems safe, there is 3 tables of 4 men each there are

two empty tables to the back they will sit at a table in the back, Daro will be single

at the bar, you four sit at that other back table and we will cover the front, just

in case.”

Fred put his radio in his ear and speaker on his lapel.

As the sat down in the dusty bar the bartender brought them drinks and took

their order, it was a plate lunch or nothing. The bartender brought plates of meat

and plantains piled high. One of the men left the table and went outside Roberto

noticing this, he and Daro took there plates moved to the bar. Fred went to the

front of the bar so he could see outside he talked in his lapel. There was a door at

the back that went to the outside and kitchen, Nator and Legget rose, left there

plates half eaten and went inside the hall. The three other tables of men stopped

drinking and walked to the door and joined six men coming in making nineteen.

Rebel walks over to the bar and said, “Are you three with them?”

Roberto said, “No, my amigo and I came in for lunch.”

Daro said, “I don’t know anybody, I came to eat.”

Rebel said, “Amigo, I am a powerful rebel in this area. I control the territory

from here to Columbia , if you pass through my territory you must pay. I have

Morales said, “How much do you require?”

Rebel said, “I think $50 grand would be good and the gringo senorita for me

wife and the other gringos for ransom.”

Morales laughed and said, “I don’t have that kind of money on me take the

gringos, she will make a good jungle wife, take all the gringos.”

Rebel said, “I will have to hold all of you also for ransom get up let us go.”

The sound of rockets broke the standoff as the rebels pulled there guns and

looked toward the front as they herd choppers.

Roberto screams, “Diablo.”

Now you could clearly hear the choppers and the racking machine gun fire

mixing with the screams of men dying. Nator tossed the little bomb and Uzi’s

with fold up handles appeared in Legget and Nator hands and the noise from

Daro’s 40 calibers automatic in each hand blazing the sound of gunfire drowned

out everything else. The shooting stopped and the men were dead.

Morales said, “Kathryn are you alright, Richard and Ken.”

Roberto wiping the sweat from his face said, “Honey you did great, I don’t

think any body hit the ground before you.”

Charles/Kathryn didn’t say a word she walked to the back and as Fred paid the

owner for the food and damages she threw up.

Fred said, “Here is enough money to haul them to the jungle, do not bury the

let the wild animals feast on the wild animals. Keep their guns and defend yourselves.”

Bartender said, “I will no take your money to haul them to the jungle. You

have done us a favor, they have terrorized our city, they have raped our women,

and we will haul the pigs to the jungle. Give this to the senorita, it will help her.”

Fred walked over to her and put his arm around her and said, “Honey, drink

this, it will make you feel better.”

With scared eyes she eagerly gulped it. Morales walked over and he hugged

her.

Ken said, “I can’t believe I wasn’t shot.”

Roberto laughed and said, “We weren’t aiming at you, amigo.”

Richard said, “Wow that was a flash back.”

Morales said, “Was those our choppers?”

Fred wiping his gun said, “I told you, I beefed up security, there ours. You

need for her not see out the street, it’s like a movie battlefield, there is about a

hundred dead out there in pieces.”

Charles/Kathryn said, “Are there any wounded?”

Roberto looked at Morales and said, “No, we are arms dealers, we defend ourselves

if attacked we don’t take prisoners.”

Morales said, “Do you want to put my coat over your head, so you can’t see

the dead?”

Charles/Kathryn said, “No, I will face them after all they wanted to kidnap

me.”

They walked outside and the dead were every where and body parts strewn

about. Ken threw up.

Richard wiped the sweat from his brow said, “Don’t be ashamed Ken; I have

seen battle hard veterans throw up looking at this.”

The mayor came up and wanted to thank them.

Morales said, “Thank the General, he sent the choppers.”

They went about a mile down the road and met the general and Morales

introduced everyone.

The general laughed and said, “I have a call from the governor, thanking me

for killing the rebels and a promotion for my acts, do you know about this?’

Morales winked and said, “You did a great job general, you need to go and

take over the situation. We can get to the ranch without your escort, since the

rebels are dead. Call ahead and tell them we’re coming.”

The general laughed and said, “You’re sure you will be safe. Thanks old

friend, next time we will break bread.”

The dust swirled up covering there sweaty bodies as they got into the choppers

and along with the fighter choppers and they left for the ranch in about twenty

minuets they landed. They got out and started toward a group of men with ear

phones and some holding machine guns.

The rancher said, “These are my guards, we are your friends, I heard what

happen in the village.”

Morales laughed and said, “They wanted to make the senorita a jungle wife,

she didn’t want to go.”

The rancher looked at her and said, “She is beautiful, but to frail for the jungle,

she belongs in the mansion, come lets go to the barn.”

Morales noticeable impressed said, “It looks like a flying saucer, and will it

fly?”

The rancher said, “It flies, the problem is it has crashed twice on landing, it is

not perfect, I thought maybe your engineers could help fix the problem.”

Morales said, “Does anybody else know about this?”

“No one, the general only knows I am building something.”

Roberto said, “What is the top attitude for it.”

Charles/Kathryn said, “What kind of fuel does it use and is it loud?”

“It is silent, it use a hydronageted water fuel clean burning.”

Morales said, “Completely silence, do you have enough guards?”

“Yes, I have enough guards and completely silence.”

“If we make a deal, I have a secret island where I develop things, would you

object to moving it there.”

“This is my home, it needs to stay.”

Charles/Kathryn said, “How long would it take to build another one, it seems

simple.”

“I could build another in a month with the right help and money.”

Morales said, “I will work out some details and we will see if we can agree. We

will fly back in the fighter choppers there faster.”

As the sun was sitting in Caracas the fighter choppers landed.

Morales laughed and said, “Kathryn you want to party here or go back to

Houston , We’re about 5 hours away.”

Charles/Kathryn said, “Let’s party for awhile and then go to Houston , if you

have time.”

Morales said, “I have to be home tomorrow night. Let’s wash this dust and

blood off and go to town and then we will sleep on the 47.”

Wearing a dress Morales had picked up for her they went by limo to a beautiful

club and with gold platters piled high with their famous beef and lot’s of

booze they partied hard it was as if all the killing and blood they were trying to

eradicate from their minds and Kathryn noticed that the five shooters although

not loosing control, drank heavy, danced hard they seemed to really be letting

there hair down. It seemed like a demon in them. They brought Morales, Kathryn

and Ken back to the 47 so they would be safe about 2:00 A. M. They each

had a woman on their arm and they went back to party. They sat down and the

chef served them some coffee.

Charles/Kathryn smiled and said, “Please bring me some water, I can’t drink

coffee this late.”

Morales said, “When the guys kill as many as they did today, it has to come

out they will be fine tomorrow and you two know this is not to be broadcast.”

Ken laughed and said, “Who would believe it. Do you really own a secret

island?”

Morales laughed and said, “Of course, they are little countries. The way we

ship arms is from one of our countries to another and then they end up in a third

country. You know the guns the guys used we manufacture in our country, there

are great guns just expensive and most rebels want cheap Chinese arms.”

Richard said, “How much does one cost?”

Morales said, “About five grand, but its cheap when it will save your life, it

won’t malfunction and highly accurate. When you get into automatics weapons a

lot will hang up on the discharge obliviously the quicker you get the shell out and

another in the more rounds you are capable of firing, a single bullet might be the

difference of being alive. I don’t know of any guns that are faster than mine.”

Ken said, “Who buys them?”

“Mostly guards of head of states and royal families, we manufacture our own

shells they are like a bomb they blow up on contact. You should talk to Nator,

that’s short for detonator he spends a lot of time on the island inventing things

that blow up. We and our army were pinned down in Africa by a bunch of rebels,

when this remote controlled missal, like a toy airplane starts buzzing around,

these rebels stop firing and look at it, these guys have never been out of the bush

and thought it was a spiritual God and Nator sent it into there position and he

sent missals from it, the ones that lived are still running. Lot ’s of superstitions the

Charles/Kathryn said, “I am going to bed, I need some rest.”

She is sitting in the bar drinking coffee the next morning in her gown and

robe as the guys come back to the 47. They come in sit down and the chief serves

coffee.

Charles/Kathryn laughed and said, “You guys sure look good to be partying all

night.”

Roberto looking bleary eyed said, “Morales did great, he picked out that gown

and robe, and you look great in it. We didn’t party all night, I went to the lady’s

house and had sex and went to sleep about 3 and slept till 9. Have you seen the

news, here is the paper, turn on the TV.”

Charles/Kathryn said, “I will go and get dressed.”

Fred laughed and said, “Wait, Daro tell Ken, Richard and Morales to buckle

up were taking off. Let Morales see you he personally picked out that negligee.”

Charles/Kathryn said, “It says the guy who tried to kill me was found in the

Libya desert half eaten by vultures.”

Roberto said, “They think he was ejected from a low flying plane and could

have been alive with broken bones and could not fight off the vultures. That’s a

painful way to die.”

Daro laughed and said, “The Libyans specialize in that kind of torture. The

bastard deserves it, trying to kill you.”

Charles/Kathryn said, “Yesterday, when all that shooting wasn’t you worried

about getting shot.”

Roberto laughed and said, “Of course, in the last few years that’s the first time

that’s happened. We were caught in the middle. We were going to meet the general

and he was going to escort us through the rebel country.”

Fred said, “The choppers were to help the general, if there was a trap we figured

it would be close to the ranch. We train for surprise situations like that. We

went there for lunch and it felt weird. In these towns the streets are bustling,

there was no one on the streets.”

Charles/Kathryn said, “What about those chopper pilots?”

Roberto laughed and said, “They live for that, that’s what they are trained to

do.”

Ken, Richard and Morales walked in.

Morales said, “The negligee looks better on you than on the hanger, you look

beautiful.”

They were eating breakfast in the dining room as the 47 crossed Central

America .

Roberto laughed and said, “Kathryn, you really should eat healthy, those huevos

rancheros will kill you.”

Nator said, “You eat too many hot chilies.”

Charles/Kathryn laughed and said, “It is proven that chilies improve your

metabolism and where you guys took me to eat, they will kill the worms. What if

that bomb hadn’t stayed in the four foot radius?”

Nator laughed and said, “I guess it would have killed everything in what ever

the radius it covered. Kathryn I am an expert, it would not get out of the radius I

designed it for.”

Morales laughed and said, “That café in the jungle was a little rough, but you

don’t need the chorizo.”

Charles/Kathryn laughed and said, “Richard, am I missing something here, I

lay on a filthy floor, while bullets are flying every where, people are being killed,

and these guys are worried about my diet. What’s it like to parachute out of a

plane?”

Morales said, “I have only done it a couple times and I don’t like it. The story

about the bullfight has grown. I will tell you about a man named Saltineo a very

dangerous man. This man was young and just coming up in the world of shipping

arms, when a terrorist blew up a Chinese plane and killed 2-3 hundred. The

Chinese knew this man as he was buying and shipping some of there arms, they

found out where this terrorist was hiding, but couldn’t send there army to

another country.”

Roberto said, “Saltineo was a very handsome man about 6' 3' 200 lbs of muscle

NATO intelligence and CIA. They hired him and his body guards to go to

Pakistan, into the tough tribal area where everyone was afraid to go especially

white men. He had three guards Dalhin, Lapet and Jony all three explosive

experts. He hired a private army of some Afghan fighters who had fought everyone

who had tried to take there country and specialized in High Mountain fighting

and went on these narrow trails into the tops of the mountains where there

were only goat trails. They tortured some of these locals and they led them to a

cave.”

Morales said, “The cave was heavily guarded, the story went that they killed

thirty guards with knives. They got in the cave captured the leader and killed

another 100 that were with him in the caves they blew up the cave and half the

mountain. They were trying to get back to the Chinese border when they

encountered a local warlord. The fighting was fierce and Saltineo’s army was

killed and wounded, it was down to him and his three body guard, there only

hope was to scale down this steep cliff. Saltineo told one of his men to kill the

wounded, it would be better for them dead than to be captured alive.”

Daro said, “Saltineo killed the terrorist and threw him down a cliff and as

some of the local warlord’s men went after the body they fought with the others

they fought within about three miles of the Chinese border, when the Chinese

sent choppers and covered them while they escaped into China.”

Morales said, “The Chinese had a jet waiting to fly them to the leader of

China, on the jet this general wanted to know what was in the cooler and told

Saltineo how disappointed they were that they didn’t get the terrorist, they didn’t

have time to clean up and went into the Great Palace and during the meeting the

President was scolding him about failing. He stood up dirty with blood on him

and had his guard open a cooler and he reached into the cooler and put a heart on

the table. This general questioned him about how they would know it was his

heart.”

Nator laughed and said, “Then to prove it was him he reached in the cooler

and brought out two hands and put them on the table. He then had his guards

bring the cooler over to the president and he laughed with glee as he viewed the

terrorist head in the cooler.”

Morales said, “They had the parts displayed so all of China could view them

and had Saltineo and his men taken to a wing of the great castle to clean up and

prepare for a great banquet that night.”

Roberto said, “Most arms come from China and nobody moves arms from

China with out Saltineo, they were so grateful. He even speaks Chinese better

than any Chinese”

Kathryn said, “I don’t I would have the nerve to do that, do you get your arms

from China?”

“Most of them they are the cheapest and easiest to move, with Saltineo’s

help.”

Daro finished eating and left the room and returned as they were finishing up

breakfast.

“Boss, in an hour we will be in Houston, do you want to refuel and go to

Laredo?” Daro said.

Kathryn returned dressed in a short skirt and blouse with heels.

Ken frowned and said, “What about my party aren’t you coming?”

Daro said, “There won’t be a party.”

Ken cut his eyes toward Kathryn

Charles/Kathryn laughed and said, “Do you know something we don’t?”

Daro said, “Probably, there is a little disturbance sitting over the city, it will

rain the next 20 hours. The pilot has a weather update”

With a steady down pour they landed said there goodbyes and went to the

limo and decided to go to the Carrier to have a bloody Mary.

Ken said, “Man, this is like a New Orleans storm it is really raining.”

Charles/Kathryn laughed and said, “Probably has something to do with coming

from the same Gulf.”

Richard said, “Derek, Jan, Lynn, Billy and Robert or on the way over here to

have a drink.”

Derek sat down and said, “I saw the news and your assailant died in Libya, I

wonder how he got to Libya?”

“Why ask me, he was probably a drug deal went sour? He got what he

deserved, trying to kill me.”

Billy said, “People threaten people everyday and they don’t end up in Libya,

eaten by vultures.”

Richard smiled and said, “Maybe the message is she should not be threatened.”

Robert laughed and said, “That’s probably true. Where were you three this

weekend?”

Ken laughed and said, “Libya, no we were in Rio, with lots of witness’s.”

The next day

Kathryn said, “Richard can we have dinner, it’s important.”

Richard laughed and said, “Charles/Kathryn, last time you wanted to talk,

whatever can’t be bigger than that, I’ll pick you up at 7:00.”

The arrived at the restaurant

The host said, “Charles/Kathryn is this table alright?”

Charles/Kathryn said, “Thanks, it’s great, could he bring our usual drinks.

That drink tasted good, I needed it, and I have something to tell you.”

Richard laughed and said, “I am going to be shocked?”

“Probably not, I decided to have my sex changed. I live like a woman except

for sex with men, so I think I should change my sex.”

“Wouldn’t it be easier to become gay, if you changing it to have sex with

county is dropping the investigation, there letting the feds handle it.”

Richard laughed and said, “You forgot, do you have to go back to the shrink?”

“Joel just called a couple hours ago and I was excited to tell you about the

operation, yes, I do have to go back and have been going back. The only reason I

quit was he would bring up my childhood and I would go home and cry because

it was so bad. I felt sorry for myself on something that was over with, it was crazy.

He kept telling me that being sent to live with my grandparent when I was two

when my sister was born and lived there for fours years made me want to be a

woman. I was torn from my mother’s love and replaced with my sister. He said at

four my sub conscious thought if I was a girl like my sister my mother would love

Richard laughed and said, “You know probably something to do with your

bad childhood and taking hormones, dressing like a woman on the front page of

shrink send you to a shrink to take the tests”

Charles/Kathryn laughed and said, “I go to psychiatrist and a psychologist

gave the test. It is a little strange all this going on. I have talked to a few doctors

and I have been accepted, I will get a new shrink report in a few days.”

“At least you have been thinking of it. How did you get accepted with the old

results?”

Charles/Kathryn smiled and said, “I took the tests again and submitted them

to the doctors and I just need to see the shrink to sign a letter. I will get one to

sign it some where.”

Richard laughed and said, “Sounds like a done deal where are you having the

operation?”

Charles/Kathryn smiled and said, “I need you blessing, I want you to be happy

for me and with me.”

Richard laughed and said, “Whatever makes you happy makes me ecstatic.”

Billy came over and said, “You guys look deep in conversation. We are getting

a big table, would ya’ll like to join us?”

Charles/Kathryn said, “Will you give us a few minutes and don’t wait to

order, we’re almost complete.”

Richard laughed and said, “I have never seen you push off like that.”

Kathryn smiled and said, “No one in my life is closer than you, except my

children in a different way. This is an import decision in my life, it’s kind of irreCUNADO

Richard said, “I have two announcements, the county dropped the investigation

Two days later at the office

Charles/Kathryn said, “Can you believe he told me I was a very stable person

and he would give me the letter. He said anybody that didn’t consider suicide

over my childhood and all I have been through shows I am a very stable person,

the letter has been faxed to the doctor and I leave Monday for London.”

Richard laughed and said, “Sounds like a plan, girl when you want something

you go after it, congratulations. Do you have to have a boob job?”

Charles/Kathryn laughed and said, “I told the kids and can you believe

Morales wants to send guards to protect me. He has already checked out the hospital

and a lot of his Arab friend go there and stay in suites with their guards. I

for there time to land and drop off the people at La Demasiado. Richard,

As huge platters piled high with steaks and various Mexican foods the long

Mexican horn sounded and every one went to the table and sit down as dinner

was severed as a Mexican band played his favorite music.

Ken laughed and said, “A toast to the girl who will be running around with a
