Can Fish Casserole

Can Tuna Noodle Casserole
1 (12 ounce) package wide egg noodles
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 1/2 cups nonfat milk
2 (6 ounce) cans white albacore tuna, drained and flaked
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 teaspooon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup chopped pimientos (optional)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Cook noodles according to package directions;
rinse with cold water. Drain; set aside.
In large saucepan, heat butter over medium heat until hot. Add bell pepper
and onion; cook and stir 5 minutes. Stir in milk, noodles, tuna, soup,
seasonings and pimientos, if desired; heat through.
Pour into buttered 13 x 9-inch baking dish; sprinkle with cheese. Bake 25 to 30
minutes or until hot and bubbly.
