Lynn's Beer Apple Fritters
2 C. flour
1 Pt. beer
4 Large apples Peel, core and slice apples into rings.
Blend flour and beer to a paste. Dip each apple slice in the batter and fry
in deep fat (at approximately 390 degrees) until golden brown. Drain on
absorbent paper. Keep fritters hot in oven. Serve with light custard, or
sprinkle with powdered sugar. These fritters are light and crisp and the beer
leaves no taste. Serves 4.
He is very imprudent, a dog; he never makes it his business to
inquire whether you are in the right or the wrong, never asks whether you are
rich or poor, silly or wise, sinner or saint. You are his pal. That is enough
for him.
