Cranny's
Cranberry-Bourbon Sauce
1 cup bourbon
1/4 cup minced shallots
zest of 1 orange
1 12oz packages fresh cranberries
1 cup sugar
1 tsp black pepper
In a pan combine bourbon, shallots and orange zest. Bring to a boil and
simmer
until syrupy about 10 min. Add cranberries and sugar, and stir until sugar
dissolves.
reduce heat, simmer uncovered until cranberries burst. Remove from heat and stir
in pepper.
