Jack's Mushroom Cornbread Dressing
1 large loaf French
bread
1 Pan corn bread crumbled
1/2 cup
margarine
4 eggs
1 large onion
chopped
2 teaspoons, baking powder, salt
1 cup finely chopped
celery
pepper and Italian seasoning to taste
1/2 pound sliced mushrooms
Break up French Bread and soak in water. Squeeze out excess water and
set aside. Melt margarine in skillet over medium heat. add onions, celery and
Mushrooms. Add French bread and corn bread and steam out excess moisture.
Allow to cool before adding eggs. Stir in backing powder, salt, pepper and
Italian
seasoning. Toss lightly. Bake till done
If I am not learning something new every day, I might as well be
