Celery Cornmeal Biscuits Stuffing
4 cups crumbled cornbread
4 cups crumbled baking powder biscuits
2 eggs, beaten lightly
2 cups finely chopped celery
1 cup finely chopped onion
2 tbs rubbed sage
2 tbs poultry seasoning
1 apple peeled and cored
Salt & pepper
Turkey or chicken stock to moisten
in a large bowl, combine cornbread, biscuits, eggs, celery, onion, and
apple. Toss to mix thoroughly.
Dribble the butter over all and toss again. Add seasonings. Moisten with stock.
Do not
get to soggy. Stuff a 10 lb turkey or bake in casserole till brown about 30
mins. @ 350
