Hi there, I
am a tract of land on highway 71 between Bastrop and Smithville in Texas. I am a
beautiful piece of Texas, I have a creek on the East side that is fed from the
mountains a few miles away. I have some huge pecan and willow trees. I have a
cottonwood that is over 100 feet tall, and I am abundant with wildlife, I have
millions of butterflies and birds. The deer, bobcats and coyotes roam me.
I was proud to be a piece of Texas then something happened last June. A woman
from New York City bought me and put up a sign declaring that coming soon
"The Swamp". This started a lot of gossip in Bastrop and the surrounding
counties and then we all find out she is a transsexual. A proud piece of Texas
dirt owned by a New York City transsexual. A least now I found out that she was
born in Texas and lived here for fifty years. It seems like me and these other
red necks seem to have accepted her and now she renamed me "The Zwamp"

She first moved to Austin,
Texas and didn't like it and moved to Bastrop. She thought Austin thought it was
a big town in reality it's really is like a small town. It really wants to be
cool, hip and weird but spends so much time patting itself on the back, it's un cool. She
really loves Bastrop and Smithville. I will give you the news from this area and

by day and some of the myths or truths in the area.
